Production wise, Bloom beats them all out. In other areas, I'm not sold. My order, if you include all four, are Peer > Mancini (much-needed D) > Bloom > Maillet.

Bowler....Big trades for Flint and Sarnia. Their selling so the Spits should follow suit
Let's hope there are teams who are flushed with picks in the need of what the Spits have to offer. If not can we thank Juggy???Big trades for Flint and Sarnia. Their selling so the Spits should follow suit
Bloom's value would not be an upgrade on any of the 3 OA's that the Spits have now. Mancini is our top D. Peer is top 10 scoring in the league and Bloom will not contribute at that pace on the Spits ( he might on Saginaw) . Maillet is our best face-off center that plays top PK and 1st line as well as first line PP. Now Bloom on the Spits would be first line and first line PP. He would not be first line PK or a top face off guy. He would not be an upgrade for the Spits.Oh, I agree. I was just responding to Bloom being no better than the 3 OA’s Windsor currently has. I think he’s a fair bit better than any of the 3. Mancini is probably more valuable to the Spits right now but I’d take Bloom over any of the 3 in a second without hesitation.
We’re good. I understand that the Spits wouldn’t move any of the 3 for Bloom. If I’m a contender looking for an OA though? I pay more for Bloom than any of the 3 unless I need a D. I think he could out produce Peer and brings more to the table. Remember Bloom had 7 SHG a couple seasons ago and there’s a reason he’s played in the AHL this year and the Spits OA’s will be playing USports next year. I’m not a fan of Saginaw at all or the Spits either but I’ve seen a lot of all them.Bloom's value would not be an upgrade on any of the 3 OA's that the Spits have now. Mancini is our top D. Now this is not saying he is a bad player or will not help Saginaw. he would not help to " improve" the Spits because subtraction would be required.
Hope this explains my point? Be safe.
At the same time, had he done well at it, he wouldn’t be back in SaginawBloom would be the best OA on Windsor. Purely based on the fact he got experience playing against grown men for 22 games.
The way I see it, is IF we make the playoffs, we can’t do worse than last year lolDraft lottery weighted 40, 30, 20, 10 for bottom 4 so 19th or 20th suits me fine. We don't have the HC position solidified anyways. Proud their playing better hockey since HC change but I don't want to throw away a lottery pick or spending to get into the playoffs where we all know we are too inconsistent in net and D in several depts to make any noise.
My take on the line-up. Looks as if nothing is close trade wise. If it were there are players who would be sitting out.Martin and Wingard out, Struthers in. Michelone with the start. Everyone else in.
I agree with these points, and I know I contributed but let’s move on. Spits are NOT dealing an OA for Bloom in a year we sit 10th.Bloom's value would not be an upgrade on any of the 3 OA's that the Spits have now. Mancini is our top D. They are all on the road trip so If anything happens it will be Monday to Wednesday. My take on the line-up. Looks as if nothing is close trade wise. If it were there are players who would be sitting out.
Struthers will need to get used to hockey.Martin and Wingard out, Struthers in. Michelone with the start. Everyone else in.
Bowler phone on??My take on the line-up. Looks as if nothing is close trade wise. If it were there are players who would be sitting out.
Castle absence in games remains a mystery. Something going on we don't publicly know about. Conflict with HC, GM or personal issue has to be considered.I’m not opposed at all to given Castle & Struthers chances here.
Weird to see Struthers get in before Castle IMO.
Struthers 1A in 13GP
Martin 1G 1A 28GP
Castle 2G 5A 19GP
Smith 5G 4A 35GP
I get rotating Martin out, for Struthers. But Smith should be rotated out for Castle too if that’s the way we’re going. I’m not high on castle, but I’d bet money on him out producing Colton Smith.
Peer, Maillet, Davis and Smith are the only ones that have played all 35, I wonder if they have some goofy, let him play every game thing going on with smith since he’s halfway there.
Windsor should have done what's best for him by now. He should have had the ability to play on another team.Castle absence in games remains a mystery. Something going on we don't publicly know about. Conflict with HC, GM or personal issue has to be considered.
Greentree clear leader of this team.Bus legs for the first ten but they played better second half of the period.
He is definitely one of the leader. We will see if the name a captain after the tdl.Greentree clear leader of this team.
Should of been named captain a month ago.He is definitely one of the leader. We will see if the name a captain after the tdl.
I think Erie wants this a little more right now.
