On league site I don't see Castle inChristforo taking that knee last night might be an issue. Castle in, go figure.
I know the Spits twitter or X shows picture
of #90 so I am confused

Agreed, that what have I seen on the sites u mentioned. The OHL scoring sheet does not show Castle in. Maybe just a random player was chosen for today's icon on Twitter?!
really can’t depend on OHL sitesAgreed, that what have I seen on the sites u mentioned.
As for Christoforo assuming injury 1st game he has missed due to injury in all the games he has played here.
The games he missed last year were due to playing in U17 tournament.
Actually the game sheet filed by respective teams is pretty accurate.L

Actually I would have put Castle in tonight 's game. The OHL scoring sheet does not show Castle in. Maybe just a random player was chosen for today's icon on Twitter?!
Agree with Mancini unit 1. Shot is there if utilized plus best stop gap against a shortie. Give Woodall a chance. 7 assists in 15 games? He brings as much offense as Cristoforo but with less defensive risk. Both similar style players. If Woodall played regular last season he would dwarf Cristoforo's output this season. Just my opinionActually I would have put Castle in tonight 's game.
As well will be interesting to se who takes Christoforo's place on Windsor's PP.
Myself I feel it should be Mancini, last 2 years he has 25 goals including 13 last year,he can fire puck was going to suggest this after last night's game.
My PP unit would be Mancini, Greentree, Peer,Zhilkin and Malliet, 2nd unit would be Toms or Woodall, Abraham, Smith and Davis and Outwater.
Weird stat Christoforo has 7 career goals but 0 on the PP,Smith has 39 goals but 9 PPG in his career,he had 8PPG of his 13 goals with London, but only 1 of only 26 since.
Castle of his 36 goals career 9 are PPG,0 with Windsor all in Niagara.
If Smith and Castle can't contribute on the PP move them out.
Coming from Niagara makes me wonder how much "cancer" they were trying to rid their room of last year. Let's face it for a 1st rounder he is nowhere in the company of 15th rounder Morneau.Well the plot thickens on Mr Castle. Injured or just not able to elevate his play? Real hard to get a take on what is going on?
Hate to speculate too much but it leaves it open to a wandering mind if teams don't at least give some updates on players status and yes they don't and shouldn't release personal stuff.Coming from Niagara makes me wonder how much "cancer" they were trying to rid their room of last year. Let's face it for a 1st rounder he is nowhere in the company of 15th rounder Morneau.
Oh media..lolThe OHL scoring sheet does not show Castle in. Maybe just a random player was chosen for today's icon on Twitter?!
Wasn't a good move coming here..Well the plot thickens on Mr Castle. Injured or just not able to elevate his play? Real hard to get a take on what is going on?
Prettt sure it was Abraham who picked up the ‘Stranges’ imma just take the puck and skate in circles til something opens up a season or two ago? And now he rarely has possession and is often losing the puck when he tries to skate it in.From my previous post I mentioned that I did not see Abraham much last night, so I had a chuckle when I saw on X that the Spits picked him as their 2nd star of the game! Guess he was doing stuff I never saw??? I really do wonder sometimes.
For next year, yes, I agree completely. Currently I’m looking at Abraham, Morneau, maybe a move to get a Vet D (not Toms) for OA’s. However, if we get offers this year, I’m content shaking that up.I didn't see it before but right now it says #12 Eduard Sale from the Colts.
Re Castle: I've never gotten the impression that he's content, I guess. He looks like he's going through the motions. Torres has said that he gives ice time to those who show the best in practice so maybe that's part of it? Maybe there's a lingering injury that they're not disclosing? I don't know. At this point, I'd almost rather trade him and get something rather than "Oh, he was dressed tonight? Go figure..."
Re the 2004s: Zhugin's going to depend on how he does the rest of this season. He has real offensive potential but he's also an Import. If Windsor has a top-10 pick, do you get rid of him or Eichler? That might be a tougher decision than we think. Abraham sticks around as there's far too much to ignore. Morneau is a maybe; brings more than just points, which they need. Michelone should be gone, same with Smith.
Send Aidan Castle to Peterborough. Rob Wilson has a history of turning struggling player’s careers around. He did it with Emmett Sproule and Connor Lockhart. They are looking better and they are looking more competitive but depth is just not there.
I'm all in on shots from anywhere and often but it seemed the perimeter shots were hitting the net but up close were missing. Net is still the same size since I played. They had lots of qualify chances but could not put them on net. They outplayed Barrie but if you don’t hit the net you don't score.
Seemed to me Abraham and Smith had limited minutes. Either they were not noticeable out there or their toi was cut back?
Defense is better but a few gaffes were noticeable. #5 has played better but his untimely penalties are quite often killing any momentum they have.
For me it is curious that Castle is a scratch every game now. Is he hurt? You would think he would at the minimum rotate in and out with some of the B players? I'm assuming he will get moved for a bottom pick to a team that just needs a roster filler?
Joey played OK . Defense starting to help out more so less 2 on 0's for him to contend with. Wonder who starts tonight?
This will be a tough one tonight. They will have to play their best game and hope Guelph doesn't if there is any chance for points.
Worst win season was late 70's with only 12 wins. Spits are halfway to that with 6. Onwards and upwards!
Who's missing tonight? LolBest defense they have played all year.
Wasn't going to say it.Who's missing tonight? Lol
I wonder..Who's missing tonight? Lol
I was honestly thinking that… but longer. If the third is anything like the first two, best defensive game of the Bowler era IMO. I imagine Guelph coming out hard and getting at least one, seeing how the spits respond to that will tell the tale in this one.Best defense they have played all year.
