He got a 10min misc for "persisting" during a fight against Gabriel Chiarot. I'm wondering if the league reviewed it and... either he said something or they determined the persisting was worth five games?!

Likely a combination of both. He was insenced with something and wouldn't quit yapping at everyone including the officials. Little late in his OHL career to send a message but you can't do that sheet anymore.

it seems very severe for what was on camera so there must have been more to it. Was curious if anyone at the game may have seen anything.

I had a good angle for his emotions at the end of the fight. He threw a couple of punches while the officials were on him and was very vocal the entire time. At the time, I even said "he's going to be tossed." The fact that he got 10 shocked me.

Knowing the OHL they probably wanted to hand him 2 games but found out he was injured and was already missing this weekend with injury so decided on 5 hoping he would be healthy after this weekend to serve his 2 games.

I haven't been mpressed by Zhugin at all to be honest. I'd put Nesbitt with Greentree and Spellacy before Zhugin. If this is a development period to end the season, give Nesbitt the kid a chance. Even with a great draft, this team will be young and inexperienced. Team had no problem showcasing 74 last year as a rookie. First round Nesbitt deserves the same imo.

Don't even think Zhugin will be back next season. Showcase someone else would be better indeed
