Good sign.Brocklehurst has signed.
Very interesting
Keep it interesting by signing Robinson as well.
They didn’t have a strong 04 group, but I imagine Coulson Pitre stays as their third OA. Stojikov, Blake Smith are their other 04’s on the backend. Samenas (9pts 60 games) and Slavicek (46pts in 55 games) are their 04 F’s, both imports.
Abundance of 04’s in Sudbury too. I wouldn’t hate Morneau sticking around cause he’s cheap, but at minimum him or Smith have to go to create room for an 04’ D, and if we can fleece Flint again, sure.Blake Smith would be a nice addition to the Windsor defence. I know an OA D is on the list.

Sudbury’s got DeAngelis, Van Vliet, McCoy and Price on the back end.. all 04’s. They’re only younger D last year, 05- Mania, now to flint. Not sure what their picks/prospect situation is, but I’d imagine more trades coming out of there sooner rather than later
Coach??Blake Smith would be a nice addition to the Windsor defence. I know an OA D is on the list.
You know what’s crazier than not having a coach in June? Trading 16 Picks for a pair of Overagers, a pair of 05’s and a 9th round pick that’s a .5 PPG 06’ player in the OJHL that hasn’t reported to the OHL yet.Coach??
Coach??
Now I love me some Liam Greentree… but he’s gotta be worth about 3 years of draft picks to Flint if this is how trades are going to be lol
Lots of breathing going on..As we've said many times before, it's going to happen at some point. I know you're waiting impatiently... but, until they head into camp with no coaches, breathe a bit.
DON'T start that lol
Flint's taking a page straight out of Niagara's handbook and I'm here for it.
Okay okay, I retract my Greentree comments lol.As we've said many times before, it's going to happen at some point. I know you're waiting impatiently... but, until they head into camp with no coaches, breathe a bit.

Would require him to think outside the box..Okay okay, I retract my Greentree comments lol.
But based on what they’ve received… maybe they want another injury prone guy? Maybe they another undersized forward? Maybe they want to move another player closer to home? Maybe they want another guy that won’t be back next season?
I got one in mind that checks all those boxes, that I wouldn’t hesitate moving for a pair of 2nds and a pair of 3rds…
Just saying.
…Bowler? You there? Pickup the phone LOL

I would think he's speaking about #12Who's that??
He's going to make a move, it's just a matter of when. I don't think anyone expected Flint to come out swinging like they did today.
It isn't that tricky. Abraham scored a lot of goals but he was terrible at the beginning of the year. After the deadline he scored a lot but was very undisciplined to the point where he has good for 1-2 penalties a game. He was responsible also for why they struggled at the beginning. He will be back because they can't play all their 08s, they have very few 07s and their 05s aren't great. In other words Bowler backed himself into a corner after the 23 deadline and they will still be paying the price.I misread and thought he said he had one in mind that he wouldn't mind moving picks to get. That said, Abraham is a tricky one.
Do it at the deadline so maybe you can get their 1st round pick a couple months ago. Get more picks, get some conditionals in case he returns in 25-26. Shoot to contend in 26-27.Send Greentree to Oshawa for the sun and the moon. He won’t be around when we compete anyway…
Status quo...We all know that he needs to chill on the minor penalties but he had four PIM, total, along with 13 points in his final 10 games. Strangely, he also had very few PIM during his ugly pointless streak at the start of the season. It's almost as if he couldn't find his game in any capacity, got aggressive and put up the points, and then learned how to tone it down while still producing. If he can play like he did in the final 10, there's no reason he can't be a very effective OA.
