As in Windsor had a shot, but Kingston did stupid things?

I don't think they had a shot, but rather Kingston playing games with everyone trying to max out a return. Just my understanding. Those games don't help ya down the line with negotiating with other teams. (Kingston that is)
There has only ever been a few teams willing to meet the ask, but Fronts played games is my understanding. ( trying to get more involved when it won't realistic)
Like pricing a house for sale at 750k when ya know offers will go 1.5 mil. It's a waste of time for so many. Ya get 27 offers but really on 3/4 get looked at.

WINDSOR
Holy hell that was a total lack of effort period!
The lack of effort did stand out . Understable the turnover hurts schemes and systems but that doesn't prevent effort being shown. Onuska same Ole, didn't let in a softie bit didn't male the big save either.

With Onuska it's like these coaches and Management are trying to fit a square piece into a circle. It just doesn't work and they dont seem to get it. He wasnt a OHL staring calibre goalie last year and he isn't this year. He had good stats last year in the playoffs, and all I got to say is so what? Pretty much the same statistics as Medina but he got shafted, last year this team was an offensive juggernaut. We outscored our problems on most nights. A good attitude should only get you so far in this league. This is supposed to be the best junior hockey league in the world, show me what you can do on the ice, because that's all that matters, and Onuska is Garbage, he isn't a first, second or third year goalie he is an OA and quite frankly a waste of space. Bring up a rookie goalie in our systems and he would put up close to the same numbers. If they dont get a better netminder I sure as hell hope our youngster Constanzo can stay strong like Diepetro back a few years ago in the Mem cup or Onuska steps up his performance big time or we wont get to far in the playoffs. We will run into a well rounded team and that will be it.

Whether people like it or not, the locker room matters. You can be great on the ice but, if you're poor in the room, it won't work.
he isn't a first, second or third year goalie he is an OA

He's a second year player, technically. He had two (2) games in 2019-20, which makes him a rookie last season.

Sounds familiar.........hhhmmmmmm

There is a reason coaches AND management make decisions. And they sometimes extend past the stats review.
The BUG will get more starts as you move on thru the season imo. ( if they co tinue to earn it) Patience. Coming from you and your support of yhe team this seems aggressive n personal.......
Trash the kid that stole the job from your starter last year all ya want but the coach that has.consistentky taken this TEAM further than any1 on this board predicted last year, last year's POs and this first half year all of a sudden is an idiot in your mind? They have a readon is all I'll say.
It'll work out just like last year when the right tender will get the starts cone crunch time.

He was not a rookie last year. You have to be 16 or 17 to be a rookie. He was 19 last year.

Onuska gives them zero chance to win right now and the team playing in front of him plays like that.

Exactly and IMO it'll work itself out when push comes to shove

He was a first year player, designated "rookie" or not. As opposed to being a fourth-year, which was the implication in the post. That said, he doesn't have it right now and JC should be the starter.

Yeah your right it matters forsure but this is our goaltender so that's void It matters a hell of alot more when our goalie stops the puck. I will take a 4th liner who's "Good in the locker room" A 4 GAA with a 874 save % isnt doing to much to help if were trying to go on any run And whether he made this league 5 years ago or last year hes still a OA Goalie and Barely an OHL Calibre goalie let alone a Starter. Stats dont lie especially save % on a top team the last two years. I'd rather pick up a useful OA and Waive Onuska and start onstanzo if were not pi king up a better option and bring up one of our Young goalies to back up who would probably put up similar numbers with how lackluster Onuska stats are. I mean he has some of the worst goalie stats in the CHL, especially for goalies playing on top teams. It's just not gonna cut it.

While this hasn't been all Onuska's fault tonight, you need a goaltender who can help when the D isn't at it's best (or anywhere near that). I'm not sure Onuska is that guy.
Not sure? Really. He has had half a year and it hasn’t been pretty. How can you not be sure at this point. It isn’t like this was his first bad game in his last 5

Haha well let's hope. But the Maple Leafs has been saying that for years. Well an offensive Allstar team wont win you any championships in any league. If Constanzo doesn't keep up with his recent play Or Onsuka keeps Sputtering as he has his entire OHL Career (3.58 GAA, 87.8SV%) there will be no things getting worked out other then an early exit. You need a reliable goalie in any league to win a championship period
