If anyone is going to Sarnia on Friday for the sting game, I have a flex pack for the season and have barely made a dent in them. A can offer a limited number of freebies if anyone is interested. Just DM today or tomorrow and I’ll get back to you

PS: I’m an anomaly in that I’m a spits fan with sting season tickets

So what's the over/under on who starts in net tonight? No back to back games this weekend so 1 good goalie could play all 3 games? ;)
Costanzo better at least get 2 of the 3 games. If he doesn’t then we riot lol.

I’m going to wait to make comments about Bowler until after next season. I want to see how he recoups all the picks he has used the last 2 years and see how he goes thru the rebuild. I will say he has done great at finding good players cheap. I just want to see how quickly he can build the team back.

I suspect Bowler will be, as Ernie Harwell used to say…”that one is long gone”.

And what about up front?
Greentree Harrison Maggio
Miedema Abraham Christopolous
Smith Maillet Peer
Spellacy / O’Flaherty Morneau Johnston

At least one will be a healthy scratch.
Obviously

Gut says that Holmes replaces Hebek, who is either released or traded. Once THAT part occurs, Jodoin goes up front.

You'd then have...

Greentree Harrison Maggio
Miedema Abraham Christopolous
Smith Maillet Peer
Spellacy O'F Jodoin
Morneau as 13th.

IF they deal a F to get a backup G, then you alter again.

I would flip Maillet with Christopolous. Need a responsible guy on the ice for when Miedema coughs up the puck and the 3rd line with Peer, Smith and Christopolous was working real well together.

Maillet and Abraham both centres. Agree they worked well but don’t know that that line is capable of being a shut down line.

Having 4 centers is never a bad thing. Most kids at this level have played center at some point. The 2nd and 3rd line have both been tasked with a shut down role which is a good thing when you are playing on the road.

It is possible that player(s) might already be on recallable waivers to judge interest in them. Should that be the case they wouldn’t play them and they never let anyone know.

Only issue I see is the 3rd line has two centres and the 4th has none

Is Abraham back tonight?

Smith is difficult to place. Too slow for top it 6 but also not suited for a shut down line. Do you flip Smith and Miedema for balance on 3 lines ?

Should be noted both Spellacy and Morneau are natural Centers.
