Question who gets the start tonight in the 1st game of 3 in 3,Onuska or Costanzo, also knowing tomorrow 's game is in Kitchener which is less then 10 minutes from Onuska 's hometown of Waterloo.
Costanzo is 3-0-0-1 at home, while Onuska is 4-2-2-0 at home, lost his last 2 at home vs London and Owen Sound, got pulled in both, now I know Costanzo allowed 7 the other night on the road, should be noted Onuska also allowed 7 in a game at Erie earlier in the season and started the next game despite that, fair is fair imo, plus can't overlook Costanzo 's home record, and toss in the fact Onuska in all likelihood starts tomorrow at Kitchener, though if Costanzo pitched a shutout tonight I would not change tenders, otherwise I do.
Saturday vs Barrie up in the air on who starts.

I said it earlier, I'll say it here - Costanzo tonight, Onuska tomorrow, and "whoever does better gets the Teddy Toss."

As far as buy or sell... which one has more value to the club?

As for Haight - he's a former ninth-overall pick but hasn't really lived up to that. The Spirit are paying for potential, not what he's done so far. Right now, it looks like a pretty solid overpayment but the scouting report on him is solid so he could surprise this season and next. I'm not disappointed that Bowler backed away from that price, though; if you're going to pay multiple 2nds/3rds, it better be for a proven 03 or 04.

I'm sure there is conversations whenever a player is made available. Bowler would likely bawk at that price and I don't see Haight fitting into the Spits window. Mostly because I don't see it as a buy year, ( without Johnston coming back).
He's an 04 you have him for 1.5 years. If 2023-2024 isn't a chance to compete that's not good either.

He's in his 2nd year he put up 22g in his rookie year. I hope you judge the Spits players the same way you judge Haight.

... and this season, he's put up three in 20 games. If that were a Spitfire, people would be screaming that he's not living up to his potential after a 22g rookie season.

Agreed.

Bowler is a difficult one to read - hasn’t sold, hasn’t bought in his 4? Years at the helm now. And there is no reason to expect he will this year, or next either.
he got perrott last year at a good rate and made a very smart move with osuna as a depth goalie pick up. other then mactavish im not sure who you would have moved miedema for, but peterborough wanted to get pharand to flip for stillman, so im not sure that would have worked.

Not only that Haight was a -14 for Barrie the highest on the team by 3.
If he were on Windsor he would be highest on team re forwards by 6,as Greentree is -8 and Spellacy-7 ,2 rookies,no other forwards are in the - for Windsor.

Transitive property doesn't work that way. So if Haight was on Windsor we would extrapolate that he would have the exact same stats? So Haight would be worse than Greentree and Spellacy??? It doesn't work that way.

Don't think you can guarantee otherwise either.
I am glad Bowler didn't do this trade.

Like I said that's not how transitive property works.
If I were Saginaw I would have put some conditional things on a couple of those picks,3 2nds,2 3rds for this transitive property,ie tied to performance goals, assists, points.
Like I said glad Bowler was not involved in this deal,at least what we know of.

If I'm Bowler, I'm at least putting some bait on a hook and seeing what happens.

22? Crazy, that’s only one less than Coulson Pitre had last year in his rookie season. You know Coulson right? He had a goal and an assist in the win over Windsor last time out but I’ve read somewhere that only what happened last year matters.

3 points in 6 regular season games vs Windsor,2 in 2 games this year and 1 point in 4 games in playoffs last year vs Windsor, you know when Flint lumped it against Windsor leading the series 3-2 when Medina and company shut you chokers down.
How u like that Savard, come on here and cause trouble

Too early plus he was drafted by Windsor a year earlier then Miedema, his birthday beyond Sept 15,.

My opinion always was talent is talent. Anybody with an iota of intelligence shouldn't have to wait how "the trade" turns out. The chances you get a productive player at least at the same level or better is slim. To think Pitre has 1.5 years left in the league and you spin that we still have to wait 3 more years to make a conclusion is an insult.

I know there are conditions on trades for returning extra season or reporting. Are there performance conditions that are allowed on a OHL trade. I don't recall any at least recently. Teams control ice time and scratches that could reduce a player's performance to their favor.
