60 goal pace with a dead PP, linemate uncertainty and generally the scraps.

Did you see how good the Leafs PP looked when it was just Nylander?

Felt like watching McDavid compose music.
I did a check
In 5 games playing over 18 mins he has 2 goals and is a minus 3. the 2 goal game he was +2

In six games playing under 18 mins he has 10 points and is +10, thats crazy

Yeah skill, speed and a good shot have lots of difficulty adapting to different styles.

Berube seems to think he is based on ice time...

And no, everyone said Marner would be disciplined, looks like it is the opposite.

What is Nylander doing different this year than last? Looks like the same player to me.

Id assume that he's playing less with the lead than trailing

No I agree with you I’m asking you if that’s a good thing or a bad thing though
Putting up points is always a good thing.

*** weird, all your initial post said was ‘right’ when I quoted it.

lol I knew it was something bacc handed with you commenting on it I personally think it’s a good thing he doesn’t show up enough I guess is what your trying to say but then none of them really do the easiest thing to do is leave it to someone else to put the pucc in the net just a thought they’ll all be judged in the playoffs providing we make it there of course

I haven’t seen anything tangibly different this year yet. Nice start to the season so far; should pot ~40 goals this year. No doubt there will be will be some streaks where he looks like the best player on the team and some streaks where it looks like he needs to be more engaged.

Seems to be a reasonable take

Looks like they might know what the 2nd. line is now.

Playing with revolving try-outs isn't conducive to your best production, but perhaps does provide options when someone is injured and you aren't overly dependent on anyone.
Wish they’d give it a try when the top line isn’t looking good
