Nylander does not get Hanifin.

The Leafs liked Hanifin so much that if Marner wasn't there at 4 they were trading down. So I doubt they would even consider the trade

Hold onto your young guys, hopefully grab some D men in the draft and/or free agency. Its really not that hard.

This. Matthews, Marner and Nylander are about as close to untouchable as it comes in sports.

Is this a joke? Have you watched any leafs games? Almost every goal that matthews has scored has been because of nylander, he is by far our best rookie so far this season. Last year we didn't have matthews and overall a terrible lineup and he still had a PPG. Nylander, matthews and marner will be untouchable for a while.

Then you're not watching the games very closely

As some said, Toronto is not in a win now situation, so not point in making desperate trades. What they shall do is focus on D more in the draft.
