Idk how many times it needs to be said but NYR are not trading Lafreniere or Kakko. They get brought up by teams that want them which makes everyone think their available. Same thing as telling your friend group one of your buddies is cheating on his girl only because you want to get with that girl

Both Rangers players kind of suck. One might get better but the Leafs, a win now team, aren't going to trade Nylander for Laf.

It is plausible that by summer we may do a major shake up. At that hypothetical time Gorgiev isn't that interesting unless you are taking Mrazek back.
If for some reason we decided to trade Nylander it would have to be for something at the very least lateral. Making the team worse is what you put on the table.
Laf could one day be better but how is that going to price out? Not having any idea what his next contract would look like makes it a bit scary.
Maybe our scouts would see it differently.

Kind of sucks, please don't misquote. Even strength goals is not the only metric to determine the quality of a player.
I argue you should tell on your friend for cheating . It’s not right or fair to the girl . Also not a very good person to be friends with . A cheater has no honour so why should you be honourable to them?

They'll never get the value they want for him because no one will pay for a guy that's shown nothing at the NHL level. So, it'll never happen, but I'm sure the Rags would love to deal him for an upgrade. Lafrenière for Kotkaniemi ? About the same value and the same production.
