Marner has to shoot the puck more.
He has the talent to get 5 shots on goal every night. I do not think many people who follow the Leafs will dispute that. He is that good.
He is a dominant player if he can get 5 shots on goal every game. If he does not score on the shot, there is a rebound. That is 5 chances per night from Marner, if he shoots the puck.
Tonight, a big game, Marner probably was cruising in on goal, with time and space, and we Leafs fans have grown accustomed to expecting not much to happen when we see Marner in that position, because not much happens. Probably happened at least 5 times tonight.
Maybe Marner is a head case, a fellow who does not like to shoot the puck?
Don't the Leafs have some sort of sport psychologist on the payroll?
Get the head doctor to do an intervention ... before it's too late!
