Will Borgen isn't a great defenseman but what he does well, is prevent zone-entries and he's also quite decent at zone-exits. The 2 things this team struggles with.

He will be playing with Schneider, which I like. That's a decent 2nd pair.

Castle is more like the German 'Schloss'. Swedish 'Slott'

A 'borg' is a military fortification while a 'slott' is a residence for royalty or nobility. Obviously there can be an overlap but 'borg' points to the military purpose for defence of a city. Cf Swe. Fästning Ger. Festung which only has a military presence.
