AHL: Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins: '24-'25 The Players Sully Hates

I believe Rutger has 11 points over his last 13 games (including his three goals).
Certainly seems to be acclimating well after an initial break-in period, thankfully. Some on here were going full-blown bonkers.

Right now that trade looks pretty solid from a PIT perspective. Yager looks woeful at the WJC.

Beck named Player of the Week in the E. Thought he looked pretty good in camp. Nice to see him doing so well with the Nailers this season.

Him in Calvert should be with Wilkes.

Dubas did a really good job building depth down through the AHL and ECHL. It might not be all NHL quality but it’s strong AHL depth.

The Nailers are a power house lol. They lead the league in point % with an almost .800

Dubas should prepare to bring up the whole line next year/later this year like Tampa did back in the day. Just make McGroarty-Ponomarev-Broz our third line.

Best Sully can do is rotating each of them on the 4th line with 90% dzone starts and scratching them when they don't produce after 3 games and 20 mins of total ice time.

McG looking better than last time I really watched. Plenty of nice plays around the net.
13 points his last 15 games including five goals.

The only thing preventing Koivunen from being a legitimate top-6 W prospect is his skating, he obviously has the hockey IQ and skill for it. Really hoping his skating doesn't hold him back in the NHL, he could be a really good winger for the Penguins.
He should be afforded an opportunity this time next season.
