Yeh, looked ugly that he got his knee punched out from under him. Foligno is a p***k
Yup and no penalty just like on Perreault I thought the league was going to protect players. Anyways no matter how many PPs the Jets would have got ... the puck was not bouncing their way tonight.
I missed the first period but the only difference I saw in this game was the Wild played better than game 2 and got all the bounces. Wild are a good team and anyone who thought the Jets would win 4 straight needs their head examined.

I am hoping for the Jets to respond in a similar manner as they did the game after that Pittsburg goon hurt Toby and Malkin had that high hit on Wheeler. Foligno should either drop the gloves to start the game with Chiarot to answer for his incident with Myers or the Jets take matters into their own hands.

Totally intentional hit on the knee. Just stupid and I don't know how SN is that freaking blind
Beyak on the radio suggested it didn’t look like much at the time as well.

Galley isn’t bad (he at least provides some ice level context, talks about what’s happening between the benches, etc.), but fully agree that Romaniuk is poor.

Coach Maurice post-game scrum topics: Any update on Myers? Thoughts on the hit that took out Myers. What was the difference in this game from the first couple? Any idea what happened? How did the "travel day" impact things? What went into the decision to pull Hellebuyck? Is it possible for a team up 2-0 to match the desperation of a team down 0-2? On the difference in the officiating tonight? Does it not suit the Jets? Playoff experience and how it factors into it.

Foligno will plead innocence but he knew exactly what he was doing on the Myers injury just like he knew what he was doing on the charge against Trouba that the ref's didn't see.

Headhunting the guy with recent concussion issues and punching the guy with obvious knee problems throughout the season right in the back of one. Nope, definitely unintentional from a guy with a classy family.

I now live in Toronto - 98% of people in Toronto genuinely wish the Jets well, despite what you see on the main board.

I think he's talking about the broadcaster (Rogers in this case), rather than the fans.

Watching some of the other series, our first periods against the Wild are pretty cringeworthy. It’s literally both teams trying to kill each other and taking dirty runs, boarding, cross checks and slashes with very little hockey. Hopefully this settles down in Game 4 but it’s pretty hard to watch TBH, I’m just waiting for a devastating injury from a cheap shot

Winnipeg, Manitoba,
Because his dad was a great guy, that's what I heard on the SN Wild broadcast
Ha...beat me to it! Yep they love Mike Foligno, so his kids are an extension of that love. That was a sneaky dirty play by the P.O.S.

Romanuk was especially painful. One other bonus of being able to go to some games is you get a break from that screecher.

Both Galley and Romanuk were so far up the Wild's *** tonight they were wearing their helmets

Romaniuk honestly sounds like he just sees the Jets as an inarguably terrible team and it’s a foregone conclusion that the Wild are going to take the series and his job is simply to chronicle their re-establishment of cosmic balance.

Paul Romanuk should also shut up about the Wild not having Suter.
How many ****ing times does this parrot have to repeat this.
Who cares.

It’s a key factor in the series. How often does Beyak mention Enstrom’s “long stick” or Myers’ “reach” or inane statistics about most wins for a left handed American goalie in February... all commentators have taking points they rehash over and over - this kne is actually significant as Suter is the Wild’s most important guy.

Watching the Caps/BJs game, and already there were 5 hits/plays that would have been penalties in the Jets/Wild game... but weren't called, because hey - PLAYOFFS.

The Wild in particular have been taking shots at Ehlers far, far away from the puck. If he gets through this series without a concussion it will be a minor miracle.

Man, this Foligno stuff. I want us to skate out there on Tuesday and just clobber them with some good old time hockey.

Something like Game 2. Just mash them until they can't be mashed upon anymore. Score a couple goals while you're at it too.

Sportsnet wants one thing: a long, close series. Jets dominated the first two - they would like to push the narrative that the Wild can make it a series. No surprise.
