I sure do hope I get to see Stahl’s baby face sitting on the bench looking all sad and confused a lot more in this series...
Nope. Jets should just skate them into the ice and let them try to goon it up. Jets' mistake early in this game was trying to get overly physical. Chiarot got two dumb penalties. He just needs to play a simple physical game and move the puck better than he did tonight. That's the recipe for success for the Jets.I am hoping for the Jets to respond in a similar manner as they did the game after that Pittsburg goon hurt Toby and Malkin had that high hit on Wheeler. Foligno should either drop the gloves to start the game with Chiarot to answer for his incident with Myers or the Jets take matters into their own hands.
Sportsnet wants one thing: a long, close series. Jets dominated the first two - they would like to push the narrative that the Wild can make it a series. No surprise.
It’s a key factor in the series. How often does Beyak mention Enstrom’s “long stick” or Myers’ “reach” or inane statistics about most wins for a left handed American goalie in February... all commentators have taking points they rehash over and over - this kne is actually significant as Suter is the Wild’s most important guy.
Well, Maurice and the Jets clearly don't think Foligno's play on Myers was innocent.Coach Maurice post-game scrum topics: Any update on Myers? Thoughts on the hit that took out Myers. What was the difference in this game from the first couple? Any idea what happened? How did the "travel day" impact things? What went into the decision to pull Hellebuyck? Is it possible for a team up 2-0 to match the desperation of a team down 0-2? On the difference in the officiating tonight? Does it not suit the Jets? Playoff experience and how it factors into it.

Paul Romanuk is an idiot and a talentless commentator that should be calling timbits games.

Foligno will plead innocence but he knew exactly what he was doing on the Myers injury just like he knew what he was doing on the charge against Trouba that the ref's didn't see.
NHL officating is awful. Watching the Vegas the LA game a knight had drew Daughty in a kawalla bear hug behind the net from his back, Drew pick him up and slammed him down like three times to try to make him let go......no call. I give up. Clearly I dont know the rule book.Well, Maurice and the Jets clearly don't think Foligno's play on Myers was innocent.
One of those Chariot penalties, where he cross checked the guy into the boards, I thought the guy dove into the boards to sell it. I could be wrong, but that's what I thought in the moment. I agree though, the mistake early was not catching onto how weird this game was going to be called.
I just noticed the punch you guys mentioned. Yeah, that's bad. It looks intentional too, his stick is not caught up on anything there.

Jets will definitely need to play their game on Tuesday but Helle needs to stop the puck first and fore most, skate skate score win and make the Wild feel like it will be a waste of time coming back to Winnipeg.

Sometimes a good ass kicking and public embarrassment wakes a team up and motivates them.
Time to step it up in game 4.
