I sure do hope I get to see Stahl’s baby face sitting on the bench looking all sad and confused a lot more in this series...

I am hoping for the Jets to respond in a similar manner as they did the game after that Pittsburg goon hurt Toby and Malkin had that high hit on Wheeler. Foligno should either drop the gloves to start the game with Chiarot to answer for his incident with Myers or the Jets take matters into their own hands.
Nope. Jets should just skate them into the ice and let them try to goon it up. Jets' mistake early in this game was trying to get overly physical. Chiarot got two dumb penalties. He just needs to play a simple physical game and move the puck better than he did tonight. That's the recipe for success for the Jets.

Sportsnet wants one thing: a long, close series. Jets dominated the first two - they would like to push the narrative that the Wild can make it a series. No surprise.

Yeah fine, they have to acknowledge BOTH teams to make it a rivalry. But at one point, Galley said hopefully the Wild had this one in the bag for the win kinda thing. If that's not biased BS then I don't know what is. It's just lame

Paul Romanuk is an idiot and a talentless commentator that is not qualified to call a Timbits game.

It’s a key factor in the series. How often does Beyak mention Enstrom’s “long stick” or Myers’ “reach” or inane statistics about most wins for a left handed American goalie in February... all commentators have taking points they rehash over and over - this kne is actually significant as Suter is the Wild’s most important guy.

If Perreault is good to go I would put him with Little and Roslo and Copp back to Lowry line. Armia sit one out. If Myers can't go Enstrom in, or Poolman if Enstrom isn't ready. If Enstrom is good And Myers plays, I would almost consider pulling Chairot out after tonight

Coach Maurice post-game scrum topics: Any update on Myers? Thoughts on the hit that took out Myers. What was the difference in this game from the first couple? Any idea what happened? How did the "travel day" impact things? What went into the decision to pull Hellebuyck? Is it possible for a team up 2-0 to match the desperation of a team down 0-2? On the difference in the officiating tonight? Does it not suit the Jets? Playoff experience and how it factors into it.

To listen click here.
Well, Maurice and the Jets clearly don't think Foligno's play on Myers was innocent.

No he would be strung up and swinging in the wind in no time. Hockey parents are not as forgiving as we are or......as sane. For his own safety maybe cricket needs some awful pointless banter.

One of those Chariot penalties, where he cross checked the guy into the boards, I thought the guy dove into the boards to sell it. I could be wrong, but that's what I thought in the moment. I agree though, the mistake early was not catching onto how weird this game was going to be called.

NHL officating is awful. Watching the Vegas the LA game a knight had drew Daughty in a kawalla bear hug behind the net from his back, Drew pick him up and slammed him down like three times to try to make him let go......no call. I give up. Clearly I dont know the rule book.

I think Chariot deserved all his penalties and his undisciplined play hurt the team tonight.

Every team in NHL goes thru this games. Especially young teams. Just a learning curve. Shows Minnesota isn't going to fold (and why should they?). Somewhere deep inside I'm happy the Wild is making it tough on our kids. So they won't get used to easy series. Not concerned at all, wasn't a must win game. Play-offs are not just about a hockey game, mental aspect is just as important as physical in 7 games series. On Tuesday don't use your shorter memory (from tonight) use your short memory (from Friday game). Jets is a good team and must learn how to deal with mental downs

Go Jets Go!

Jets will definitely need to play their game on Tuesday but Helle needs to stop the puck first and fore most, skate skate score win and make the Wild feel like it will be a waste of time coming back to Winnipeg.

Jets lose the next one and the Wild will have the series, bookie it!

I thought the Wild did a good job getting them off their game in the 1st. The Jets were reacting to every little push and shove, too focused on proving they weren't going to take any shit and their game degenerated a bit.

They'll be better Tuesday, wasn't expecting a sweep, not worried.

From one side it looked like a bad hit by chariot, but from another angle, I could see chariot only gave him a light touch with his right hand and the guy flew forward. It was a dive.

Welp as Auston Matthews says, "S*** happens in hockey":laugh::laugh:
Count me as one of those who switched to the NBC feed.
Dear lord, Sportsnet that was maddening. What's next adding Damian Cox as a 3rd voice
