Why Jumbo?

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. What happened to his hands? I thought he was an assist machine and he literally makes feeble passes that are coming from an 80yr old. I get he is going to be slow..but my God...why not even be able to pass? I thought he had a super high IQ but he literally does what you said...ring it around the boards to nobody in particular.

Thorton is a threat to escalate things if the Refs want to let the rough stuff go. People talk about keeping the other team honest with tough guys but I think having a couple of guys who will escalate also keeps the Refs honest.

All this 12 forward stuff is fine, but he’s playing more minutes than 11, 10, 9 and 8 so it’s a dumb dodge.
 
I am terrified when he’s on the ice it’s like a 5 on 4 every time.

Brooks or Robertson in his place. Could use Robertson to give our top 6 a bit more jump and use his shot on PP2.

its hard for spezza to do anything out there with 2 pylons whos offense and defense are horrendous.

brooks spezza and joe was a great line for a while ... they could score but they give up alot of chances against aswell.
i would give that a chance again ... pray for the best ...

I thought Simmonds had a good game, Spezza was his usual self. Those two with Brooks would be able to do some damage.

My favourite Jumbo moment tonight was when he was so late entering the zone he wound up with a freebie in the slot and fired it 10 feet over the net
