I knew whichever team got Vanacek would have success. He's a very good goalie, Semyon Varlamov 2.0. But Washington let's him go to sign Keumper?
The Jews part is mislabeled. Yes there is a Jewish community in Highland Park, but nothing like the massive community in Lakewood.Ghetto in the woods sounds cool same with place where clerks was filmed but i always wanted to go see jews
Like when Auston Matthews was going to be a third line center? Or Jack Hughes was a bust. Not gonna last, highly doubt it. 10 game winning streak seen this so many times.
Wouldn't be surprising if they would lose 10+ games in a row at some point of the season.
They are playing far beyond their capabilities + super easy schedule to start the season
facts are these; last 9 wins (in a row) versus
Canadiens, Coyotes, struggling Flames x 2,
struggling Oilers, Canucks, Blue Jackets
and when they won the Avs, they were
still underachieving back then, a lot.
+ two other wins from vs Ducks and Sharks
13 wins; Ducks, Sharks, Canadiens, Coyotes, Canucks, Blue Jackets,
Oilers, Avalanche and twice the Flames with Islanders and Red Wings
8 wins versus teams that didn't make the play-offs last season
and the rest 5 wins versus teams that are/were struggling/underachieving
smokes, mirrors, bubbles...
laugh all you can, ha ha..

Go ahead and update the thread title. Honestly what will it take for you to be humbled and realize your opinions are bad?

Wow we get the rare follow-up after you create a thread, plus a double-down. Impressive stuff

This is an unbelievable take. You realize we literally had the worst goaltending in the league last year. If we can get average goaltending (which we have) and our younger players can improve (they already have) and our team can stay relatively healthy (aside from Blackwood and Palat they have), this is a legit playoff team. Not gonna last, highly doubt it. 10 game winning streak seen this so many times.

You should go on a talent show with the ability to talk this much out of your ass. Some of those teams the devils beat the leafs lost to lol.Not gonna last, highly doubt it. 10 game winning streak seen this so many times.

I don't think he actually watches hockey. His takes on the Leafs are also horrible in the other main board threads.Oilers were not 'struggling' when we played them. They were on 5 game winstreak before they ran into NJD.
The two teams had the same record going into that game.
DEVILS (7-3-0) vs. OILERS (7-3-0)
Coyotes had a 3 game win streak coming into the game against us as well.
I know you are doubling down on your take but it doesnt make it right.
Easy schedule blah blah blah. Playing over their head blah blah blah. sheltered fin in the woods has opinions is what the thread titled should beWow we get the rare follow-up after you create a thread, plus a double-down. Impressive stuff

Yeah he's a notorious stat watcher.I don't think he actually watches hockey. His takes on the Leafs are also horrible in the other main board threads.
The Devils are a legit club, and if anything are finally performing how they should be after some shitty luck for a few years. Nice to see Nico doing well and starting to live up to his draft status.
Even saying that seems to be giving him too much credit for his string of amazingly bad takes on these boards.Yeah he's a notorious stat watcher.
This dude and Mulletman have the same style of 'drive-by' posting with their hot take threads.Even saying that seems to be giving him too much credit for his string of amazingly bad takes on these boards.
And yet the stats show this is a good team lol.Yeah he's a notorious stat watcher.
whatever a superstar is. in certain cases the word is used looslyBratt, Hughes and especially Hischer have played well, but I don't think many would count them as superstars.
Dont get me wrong, I prefer the team game over individuals and have no doubt that this kind of play can lead to a playoff spot and a deep run.
but the result is fast. It’s only been a decade.
I'm sure they'll be an excuse for the Rangers game as well.: Perhaps's Kravtsov's infected tooth may be better by then, giving the rangers a full squad. The excuses will still keep coming too.
Devils upcoming schedule is: @TOR, @ OTT, EDM, TOR, @BUF, WSH, @ NYR, NSH, @PHI, CHI
Toronto's injuries automatically rules out anything impressive there, as does Edmonton's goaltending/Kane injury. Washington and Nashville are struggling this season and outside the playoffs, so nothing to see there. I'm sure they'll be an excuse for the Rangers game as well.
By mid-December the schedule gets tough with @ NYR, DAL, PHI, FLA, @ CAR, @FLA, BOS, BOS, @ PIT, CAR so I guess we'll have to wait until next year to see if they can get any type of credit.
In the meantime, I'll just enjoy them racking up the wins.
Ahem.Nobody would have predicted Jesper Bratt to be this good. Many teams passed up on him.
