Going from 28 points to 52 isn't a breakout year? I feel he's kind of already done that. Unless you see him as a 65+ player.
It certainly was, but it was his first year as a center and while he was really impressive, there’s more room to improve. I think he’ll be better defensively (and hopefully better on face offs). But if he gets consistent top 6 minutes I definitely see him as a guy that can consistently put up 65 points.

That unsustainably high sh% tho

I didn't mean he'd produce exactly like in the playoffs, given the fact he produced at almost a two points per game pace this past run. I meant that he was a more consistent offensive threat in both playoff runs than he was this past year.

I think you'll see him being that more consistent threat and end up around the 60 point mark this year. If he literally produced like in the playoffs, he'd win the Art Ross.

:crossfing Sam Bennett, hopefully this ****er break out.
Too much talent not too. Guys got everything, Gully killed his momentem bad.

Hartley had huge plans for Sam and absolutely loved him, I feel like Gully tried to get him away from his game.

Crash the net, play the body and shoot from in close. By the end of the season i would love to see a:

Tkachuk-Bennett-Neal line also, give him a fair chance at center with some real linemates.

If not played at center i would like to see:

Tkachuk-Lindholm-Bennett

Jake Virtanen will finally prove his doubters wrong.
hes having a real strong summer. he got 3rd line numbers playing on the 4th line last season. if he gets anymore significant time like he was getting the last 2 or 3 games of the season, i think he can easily breakout. his speed and skating is literally what's keeping him around atm

CAN
Eichel, Strome (Dylan), Puljujarvi

Today I learned Eichel hasn’t broken out yet. He’s averaged more points per game then Matthews since Auston arrived (0.94 > 0.88) 121 pts in last 128 games playing in low motivation games with a rookie head coach, An abysmal offense and two sprained ankles.

Leaf fans don’t need to quote this cause I’m not saying he’s better in just stating how can a guy who’s done that not have broken out?

I think I see what your saying though due to injuries with his point total being 65, you probably mean a regular 80 or higher guy but I don’t know given who you selected him with , two others guys who barely have points.

I like your picks though all things considered if you meant the second thing I said.

Even then I like Dylan and Jesse o to break out.

didnt make it, who should cause trouble

Panthers

Better seasons, and should cause more trouble

Flyers(goalie issue?) , Leafs,Kings, Sharks

As for the Devils, (hehe), its play hockey or die for allot of players, also room for talent that normally everyteam never has a chance to let play. It should be a positive year, as long as strong goaltending, and Hall can continue to carry a team, no matter who they throw at him.

Nolan Patrick. First full offseason that he has been healthy. Big things coming this year.

Also Matthews is surely going to have a better season.

Ryan Pulock.

The kid has a howlitzer and in the video below he beats a few goalies squared to him.

Trotz needs to put him in the Ovechkin spot on the power play. If that happens I feel bad for the goalies that have to make that save.
