Penguins. Crosby with his third smythe and 4th cup
Would love to see a Crosby/McDavid showdown in final.

If Landy can play like we know he can (after the crazy injury and downtime), and if Nuke can stay in the lineup. Avs have as good of a chance as anyone else in my opinion, but those are big ifs for sureColorado will win it, heart says Vancouver, but Colorado will win the Stanley cup this year
Came here to say something like this although between the Oilers/Dallas it's a pickem really right?Edmonton or Dallas. Went Edmonton. I don’t feel good about anyone in the East. Florida’s played A LOT of hockey. Rangers could do it if they get some luck to overcome the 5v5 struggles since they have the ultimate safety blankets in their PP and Igor. Canes just don’t have the juice. TB and Boston still good but idk about Cup winners. Idk maybe Devils/Leafs coaching changes propel them up
I hope that's why all voted for the rest of the field. Some "experts" have the Stars tied with the Oilers and the rest of the field roughly around 9%.Went with the field, too easy to upset.
I like your enthusiasm though.I've predicted correctly for the last 4 years, I'm calling it for the Habs this year.
So the Leafs will fake winning the cup? OK, I guess I could see that happening.Lotta people said we would never land on the moon. 5 years later and boom. Kubrick faked the whole thing.
How are the Leafs worse this season than they were last season?Field...minus the Leafs.
Toronto managed to become a worse team this season than they were last season...and they sure haven't been a legitimate SC contender at any point over the last 55 plus years.
Goaltending. Replaced a 23 game winner with a guy lacking 23 wins in his entire NHL career and a decent, but uninspiring backup. How are the Leafs worse this season than they were last season?
Nah, this is just wrong.Goaltending. Replaced a 23 game winner with a guy lacking 23 wins in his entire NHL career and a decent, but uninspiring backup.
Worse
Forwards. Replaced a 20/20 guy in Bertuzzi with MaxPac...a 35 YO who hasn't posted 40 point numbers in years.
Worse
Defense. Replaced a bunch of NHL quality D-men with a handful of NHL quality D-men.
Push...lateral movement.
Nah, this is just wrong.
Defence is better for sure, Tanev alone is substantial upgrade on anyone we lost from last season.
Samsonov was awful last season, he won't be missed in goal. Woll on the other hand was fantastic in the playoffs and if he can stay healthy, goaltending could be a strength for a change.
Bertuzzi's loss is no big deal, we have some young guys on the way up who could easily make up for his loss.
Well that's clever and original.
Canadian teams don't win Cups. I wouldn't pick any of the 7 to win until one of em actually does it lmaoGotta be the Oilers. McDavid has to win the cup while in his prime. After that, it will be difficult with Leon’s extension kicking in and then his own contract.

It'll happen eventually. Oilers got within one game, I'd say they have as good a chance as anyone this year.Canadian teams don't win Cups. I wouldn't pick any of the 7 to win until one of em actually does it lmao
