all defense might be Taboo, but it’s where the true strength of this team lies, most likely for many years to come.

panarin doesn’t speak good enough English to argue with the refs. So if he got an A it would purely be symbolic.
I don’t think Kreids or Zibby should have a letter TBH. I think it would just add more pressure to them in certain situations and frankly they don’t need it.
LaF is too green at this point. I think he gets Trouba letter when Jake is eventually traded 3-4 years down the line. That’s how I would handle it. all those players are talented and lead by example on and off the ice

seriously Strome was my suggestion at Beginning of '19-20,
when Kreider was pending UFA, Bread, Trouba, Fox just arrived
and sticking to my post-McD lesson-learned to please don't give it ti Zib,
let him just continue his arc as becoming a top player in the league

I still believe it made sense then, Quinn trusted him, he had respect around the league,

yeah on some teams, a Yzerman/Trottier/Clarke captain is core to their identity
but on many teams, its less high profile, and Strome would have been fine

let Panarin, Fox, Zib lead the on-ice product without the distraction

but given to Eichel, if they make that mistake, would be another,

In my heart I want to wait a year or two and name Laf it but Drury made it seem like there will be one this year so I expect it to be one of the Vets. Out of all the Vets Trouba seems like the most leadership type, so I guess him by default

Most likely Trouba. If it was going to be Mika it wouldve happened already. The more i think about Kreider, the more I think an amicable divorce may be coming. Dark Horse candidate: Ryan Lindgren. Hes that Ryan Callahan-type player on defense and he gets an "A" either way
