ummmmmm...how about YES they do.

In one game Boudreau made a comment that he saw Julien was trapping while trailing 3-0 in the 3rd period.
Generally a team that traps will play a tighter defensive system and will rarely if ever try a "stretch pass" as their forwards never bolt the zone.
Teams like Boudreau's Caps, the Pens, and Hawks consistently used (and use) the stretch pass do so due to an offensive philosophy which takes chances.
Trapping teams don't like risk. They protect the neutral zone both offensivley (not being creative) and defensively (not attacking as much).
Not sure how you can say the Bs don't trap.
