Few bands touch the sore spots of human psychology like they do. As I have gotten older I have turned more and more to classical music...but that has to do with my studies, which explore cultural expression during a historical epoch. Chopin is the perfect blend of classicism and romanticism for me...he flirts with the dark undertones of the romantic angst against the enlightenment and yet escapes falling into them by retreating into the classicism of his previous generation. It's maturity and bravery come to life through the piano. ....and it sounds nice...lol
