Prospect Info: Who does LA pick #2? Part 2 To Byfield or to Stutzle? That is the question

At this point I am 50/50. I prefer the ceiling of Byfield but I can’t argue with whoever Yanetti and crew picks due to their track record.

It’s like oh no, we just got Stutzle. He’s a tenacious speed demon who seems to already have the Kings logo tattooed to his ass. If he improves his shot look out.

Yes the 2nd overall will be thrilling. It’s the rest of our selections that will be interesting to see what bonus pieces we get.

Raymond was as close to #1 overall as anyone not too long ago. Imagine if he had played for a lesser SHL team or played in NA Juniors?

If there's a guy underrated near the top, it's him. Dude does not have a weakness, other than being 'small.' but he's strong on the puck. Can fly, dangle, absolutely snipe. has obliterated the competition at every level. Puck is off his stick in a second in the slot, and can raise it quick too. One timers. He uses his full reach when making moves, which not many people do. His biggest weakness is lack of exposure. He's gonna make Ottawa or Detroit really happy. Hopefully not Anaheim. There's frankly a very strong case for him at #2.

That would be nuts. Highly improbable because Reichel is probably going a lot sooner than people project(and higher than the kings could move up to. Peterka could happen though), but Any interest Germany develops in NHL Hockey would go directly to the Kings. That interest would likely extend past these kids time in the NHL. Also all 3 are nasty, Stutzle is clearly the best, most dominant with the puck and dynamic on the ice. Reichel has star potential. Kid might have a 40+ goal season in him if he develops well. Peterka reminds me of Kevin Hayes. Top tier middle 6 is my projection for him. He is definitely gonna contribue to a teams success not sure he will develop into a star(all kids in the draft have a chance to though and he is one of the few late 1st/ early 2nds I would not be shocked to see going full Pasta/Aho)

I think the kings take Byfield more now. Just because I don't trust any draft info. If there are "rumblings" or "words around the league" I think its more likely that team officials only say what they want others to hear. Outside of Laf, who is a lock, any "word" about contested prospects I have 0 trust is the real outcome. I don't think I trust Detriot reports that they want Perfetti either. So it should be a fun draft

You're probably thinking of Jordan Staal, and even he wasn't as big of a point producer in juniors as Byfield is.

Yes, I was discussing his floor for if he doesn't reach his potential/ceiling. If he reaches his potential, Byfield's ceiling is unlimited.

I'm at the point that if the Kings chose Stutzle I will be excited but immediately have an ulcer flair up. I'm absolutely love watching Stutzle play and he's my favorite prospect this year but I'm afraid it would be the wrong choice. I litteraly have to go with my gut and say the Kings should draft Byfield.
