Wow are you kidding me? The stupidity some show is outstanding. What's the difference from Crosby wearing reebok under armor in interviews.

Maybe I should start a thread on the pens board about how Crosby isn't a true pen because he doesn't wear Pens logo.

He is sponsored to wear it by red bull. And how can you blame Dion for red bull being unhealthy to kids. It's clear to people don't drink in access and he ain't holding a gun to the kids head. Like **** already with the stupidity around here

You answer nothing......He seems to be more interested in promoting Red Bull then the Leafs.....why is that?

Q. Who does Dion play for?

A. The Toronto Maple Leafs.

Asked and answered. What more is there to be said?

So you see my point......the players wore the NHLPA during interviews etc during the lockout as that was their team, rightfully so.
oh I see your point, but not the point you see.

do you think they should cover the equipment maker's logo's with Maple Leaf stickers? I mean come on, is he playing for the Leafs or Reebok when he wears that helmet??

Just because he wears a Red Bull hat that's the impression you get? His play on the ice speaks for itself and does a fine job promoting the Leafs, watch the ****ing game.
I would like to see him in a Raging Bull instead of Red Bull

The question is not a literal question now is it?

It is about a message being sent......he as the captain should be seen wearing the Leafs hat while giving an interview in the Leafs dressing room after a game or practice.

Look at all the great captains we have had......and they have contracts with sponsors but you did not see them giving interviews wearing their sponsors hats.

What he wears on his head after he leaves the dressing room is his business......but while representing the Leafs it should be the Leafs he represents.

I can almost guarantee you that he signed a contract with Red Bull that states he has to wear a hat during interviews. He probably has it at his stall and grabs it when they say to come for an interview. I always see him around the MCC and hes either in a leafs cap or not at all. Notice how its the same hat every time?

He has an endorsement deal with Red Bull. Why is it such a big deal? Drew Doughty wears his Toronto Blue Jays hat in a ton of his Kings interviews and the guy has no affiliation with the Jays except for being a big fan of the team. Players are allowed to have other interests outside of hockey and the team they play for. Get back to me when Dion or any other player is wearing a hat with an NHL logo that isn't the team they play for - now that would be more of an issue.
