I don't need to name the obvious stars that have already been mentioned, so I'll name a few players that were electric in short spans.

This line in the '86 playoffs almost willed a very underskilled team to the Finals. If Patrick Roy didn't have a horsehoe & some really favorable refereeing up his ass, they might've actually made it. What a glorious run that was.

Chris Nilan, when he was healthy, lit up the Garden for 2 seasons.

Darren Turcotte was a solid Ranger in his 4 seasons here.

Reijo Ruotsaleinen was always fun to watch. Had a cannon of a slapshot that was so erratic. Saw him crack the glass behind the net a few times.

Nothing was more satisfying than watching Jan Erixon get under Mario's skin.

I'd like to include Nicky Fotiu....as far as "best" goes, you could make an argument that he was one of our best enforcers. He certainly one of the best that played with the heart of a Ranger.
