Which team would you like to see the Bruins meet in Round 1?

I want NO part of the Leafs TBH, no part, this team, even under Cassidy hasn`t convinced me they are remotely able to keep up with the constant push/pace that the Leafs bring.

Yes, the Leafs are lacking experience but traditionally, I see young teams like that reacting two ways, getting overwhelmed down the stretch and in the playoffs or being so young, they don`t even realize they aren`t "suppose" to be there

That Leaf team falls in the latter for me, they don`t act and play like a team who doesn`t belong. Sure they got creamed by the Prez Cup winning Caps the other night, hardly a shock. I wouldn`t be one bit shocked if the Leafs, depending on whom they play in round 1 either move on to round 2, or give a team like the Caps all they can handle

I think too many here are more consumed with quieting Leaf fans/media and not focusing on the reality and that reality is that team is very good and would cause our boys absolute fits.

Please.... if there is a Hockey God reading this, not Toronto.

I am getting married in Costa Rica next week as the playoffs start. it will be myself, my brother (CoachParker) you may know from here... and 40+ drunken Leafs fan friends... It just can't be Toronto. :amazed:

this is on you, need to pick your friends more wisely:sarcasm:

Although in your defense, up to this season, having a Leafs buddy around was a good idea, very easy verbal punching bag:laugh:

LMAO I didn't have a choice growing up in and around Toronto as a Bruins fan it's hard to find kindred spirits. To say they love the Blue and White here is an understatement.

My father believes he failed in that CoachParker and I are die-hard Bruins fans.

I drove down to Boston for Game 7 against Toronto a few years ago and witnessed the collapse. My Phone had hundreds of texts, emails, missed calls and every other type of chirp imaginable from friends and family until OT and it went silent.

I got home and my dad just said, "Not a word..." I didn't even bring it up for a month here lol

funny, I grew up in a Habs home with a mother born and raised in Montreal who`s company held season tickets when she still worked prior to us arriving, with Dad also having lots of love for the Wings as he was a camp invite once his collegiate career finished up but that was in the late 1950`s and I had two choices, join him or cause him to lose more hair and get even more frustrated with me by choosing a team he hated and that was the Bruins

Surely a big reason why I left home at such a young age to never return other than to do laundry or beg for a few bucks:laugh:

I know my buddies want Leafs/Sens because of the history there. I'm cool with that. I mean they're a handful when they're drunk normally... can you imagine how bad we'd hear it down there if Toronto beat us in the first round and they were destination wedding drunk?

My bachelor party this year was on the night of the Bruins 6-5 loss to Toronto. we all watched it and I heard it relentlessly... and that game didn't matter and had 20 less people watching 1/2 as drunk!!

We've gone through years when those bleeping toilet seats owned our boys the entire regular season. Then playoffs start, and our boys have sent those toilet seats home. If they can beat them in a series after being owned the entire regular season, they can beat anyone. I ain't scared. Bring it.

On a personal level living here in Ottawa, if Boston loses to either the Sens/Leafs, life will be unbearable for a few weeks. Losing to the Caps would be easy to take as they will be expected to lose that series.

So we want Washington. There's like 11 Caps fans in Toronto and I won't run into them lol

Washington, nope. Leafs eh, worried about Austin. Kid is damn good. Ottawa, they have Karlsson but i dont think defensively he is dominant though very good, and Ottawas offensive is not impressive. I think that's their best shot.

I'm like a lot of others on here ,beating the Leafs would be great, but oh man if they loose,I might have to move out of the country.Lol .Think I would rather take our chances against a hurting Sens team.Im still hoping the Leafs choke and don't get in at all.Go Tampa!

A little off topic, but if Boston wins tonight in regulation, and the Leafs lose, does Boston get guaranteed home ice in the first round?

Yes. I believe so. Edit: no, that's wrong. Lots of different scenarios.

And I agree with Kate and GW.

Ottawa. Boston has struggled against all of these teams but Ottawa seems the weakest to me and they've got injury problems right now.

I said Toronto, I just hate the leafs and want to beat them bad! I know we have not beaten them this year, but that was before we changed our style of play under Cassidy.
