I voted Ottawa because that gives us the best chance to win.

But as one poster mentioned earlier, knocking out Toronto and their fanbase would be so so sweet.

I'm getting anxious to know the schedule

Me too. Brace yourself for a possible back-to-back or two. The Bruins and Celtics have to play nice and share the Garden for the post season the first time in what SEEMS like ages, but was really just 2013. I imagine it makes scheduling a little bit harder. The Wizards and Raptors also share their venues with the Caps and the Leafs. Combine that with the NHL wanting to limit games to 2 EC/2 WC per night, and....

If I had to choose, after thinking about it a little more, I'd have to say I'd want Ottawa, then Toronto, then Washington. But frankly, I'm just about equally concerned about all 3 teams. In the playoffs, anything can happen, so I've never been someone who's said "If they get WC2, they may as well just not make the playoffs."

The Bs could get bounced by anyone, but I would rather meet Ottawa than Toronto or Washington. Washington for obvious reasons. Toronto simply because I have not been enamored with the manner in which the reffing has heavily tilted their way down the stretch, combined with their hot goalie and ability to score a lot of goals. Ottawa is a thoroughly average team that stays afloat due to that boring as heck system. I think the Bs would have a great chance in a seven game series with them.

Agree don't think the Bruins could beat the Leafs and reffs .

I would go 1- Toronto 2-ottawa and obviously 3 Washington . I think Ottawa is more playoff style of team, Toronto might let the moment get to them . There probably isn't much of a difference in the two.

Although I still think the Bruin's best chance to win in the first round would be against Ottawa, I honestly don't know if I can stomach watching a full series against the Sens.

It would be like scratching my fingernails on a chalkboard for possibly seven games in a row........ouch!

I Picked Toronto because I can't stomach watching Ottawa's absurdly boring style of hockey for an entire series. And because Toronto habitually chokes

Current 1st round Bruins opponent probabilities:

Senators = 77.6%
Capitals = 17.9%
Maple Leafs = 4.5%

So, that's ~82% chance that the Bruins will stay in the division.

Washington.

The Ottawa Senators hockey is the most boring brand of hockey I have seen in years.

I'm with you on that one. Washington or Toronto

After watching last night, Ottawa have moved to the bottom of my list. Not that I think Boston couldn't beat them, but that style of hockey is absolutely terrible.

I didn't want Washington because Holtby owns us. Now I don't want Ottawa because we just can't beat them because they bore everyone to death. So that leave the Maple Leafs.

With the smurfs
Senators.

They are the worst team in the playoffs and the easiest possible matchup for the Bruins. That and I could go see games for cheap in Ottawa on a trip.
