Well done..though im not comfortable with Coffey and Jagr being on the team. Their stints were too short and at the end of their career.

It would be like including Darryl Sittler or Adam Oates.

Id replace Jagr with Tim Kerr and Coffey with Andre Dupont.

It's pretty incredible for how many great defensemen NJ has had, nearly all of them were left hand D. Stevens, Niedermayer, Fetisov, Daneyko, Martin, Greene. Rafalski is really the only RHD of note, unless you want to count old man Zidlicky.

I'd love to find a way to put Taylor Hall on that left side.

Fine I'll make one based on the players during their stint with the team
The Rangers are known to go after all the washed up superstars but a lot of them were still very good players: Gretzky had a 97 & 90pt season for the Rangers, Jagr had 123 & 96pt seasons, Esposito had several PPG+ seasons for them, Bure didn't play much for them but got 20pts in 12 games

Graves - Messier - Jagr
Gilbert - Esposito - Bathgate
Zuccarello - Gretzky - Gartner
Bure - Ratelle - Kovalev

Leetch - Park
McDonagh - Zubov
Greschner - Howell

Lundqvist
Richter

Haha

Can’t believe I forgot Hall. I was in retro mode. I’d knock Parise out for him easily. Lemieux stays.

Zuccarello? :D

Definitely not the Flames, but I'd go with something along the lines of this;

Gaudreau - Gilmour - Iginla
Roberts - Nieuwendyk - Fleury
Nilsson - McDonald - Fleury
Third line could be a mix of a bunch of players.

Giordano - MacInnis
Suter - Reinhart
Housley - Hamilton
Regehr

Kiprusoff - Vernon

Paul Kariya - Andy McDonald - Teemu Selanne
Bobby Ryan - Ryan Getzlaf - Corey Perry
Chris Kunitz - Ryan Kesler - Jakob Silfverberg
Rickard Rakell - Steve Rucchin - Petr Sykora

Scott Niedermayer - Francois Beauchemin
Hampus Lindholm - Chris Pronger
Cam Fowler - Ruslan Salei

Jean-Sebastien Giguere
John Gibson

Using players who played at least 2 full seasons with the Ducks. That is a rock solid team.

Is it not peak-level of said players, not how they were during time on the team?

I don't think thats how it should work. It makes more sense to only evaluate the player during his time with the franchise and not his whole career for all-time list of teams. We had Jagr and Lindros for what ~30 games each near/at the end of their careers ? Might as well put Gonchar in over Robidas otherwise . Yeah Gonchar sucked with Dallas but this career !

Not better than Recchi though who should be on there imo

Oh shit yeah he needs to be on there for sure.

:flyers

Giroux - Clarke - Barber
LeClair - Lindros - Recchi
Leach - Brind'Amour - Kerr
Gagne - MacLeish - Voracek

Propp, Forsberg

Desjardins - Howe
Pronger - Timonen
Dupont - Bladon

McCrimmon

Parent
Lindbergh

That would be my 23 man Flyers roster

Gillies Trottier Bossy
Tonelli Tavares Nystrom
Lee LaFontaine Palffy
Sutter Flatly Turgeon
Bourne Yashin Goring

Potvin
Persson
Jonnson
Chara
Leddy
Marshall
Hamonic
Morrow
Aucoin
Lewis
Kasparatis

Smith
Resch

The D is up for grabs after the top 4.

Fleury twice?
I'd add Loob, Otto, and Bullard.

Just based on how guys were during their time in Colorado, I'd pick something like this for an all-time Avs team:

Tanguay - Sakic - Hejduk
O'Reilly* - Forsberg - Drury
Landeskog - MacK - Rantanen
Kamensky* - Stastny - Deadmarsh (i've written & re-written this line so many different ways lol)
(Yelle - Lemieux)

Bourque - Blake
Foote - Johnson
Zadorov - Barrie
(Ozolinsh)

Roy
Varlamov
