Where would you rate Thatcher Demko among all goalies?

Disagreed heavily on Campbell, Lehner and I think he's on Shesterkins level easily.
Edit: also Bennington? Really?
So you consider Campbell, Binnington, and Lehner as superior to Markstrom and Gibson?

Well Campbell has better numbers in every category for the past... Well all time. Toronto may be slightly better defensively, but Campbell's numbers are insane.
Yes Binnington has better stats as well, although a bit of a down year last season.
And shesterkin is probably top 3 in the league. It's no slight to demko to be below those guys.
It's a tough list to make and it changes every hour for me lol.
Gibson is really tough to get a read on seeing as he plays on a bottom 5 team.
Campbell has had absolutely ridiculous numbers in Toronto.
Binnington and Markstrom are inconsistent, but good in general. Markstrom is probably last on my list of goalies mentioned

Definitely top 10, maybe even close to top 5. He is really good and Vancouver's best player imo.

That's insane too. Markstrom has been nothing but brilliant outside of being run down last year.

People. We're not just being homers. This team sucks. They absolutely have sucked beyond belief. Their first line centre has barely been ECHL level. The fact that they aren't last in the league in every category is due to only one person. He has been unbelievable, on the back of a pretty incredible season, on the back of an out of his mind playoff stretch against Vegas. The only possible argument against him is sample size, and that is fair. But his play appears sustainable to the naked eye.

Without Demko Vancouver would be a bottom 5 team in the league. Anyone saying he’s anything less than top 10 hasn’t watched Canuck games. He’s elite.
Most of HF was screaming that Vancouver was going to be a top 3 team in the Pacific this year and they are currently ranked exactly where they have been from 2015-2021…. a bottom 5 team in the league.
It blows my mind they still have one of the loudest and most aggressive fanbases on these forums given the stats

Where are you seeing these people? I'm a Canucks fan and every Canucks fan I see on here just talks about how shit the Canucks are.

I don't think its fair to analyze Demko stats when he is playing behind a defense coached by an AHLer named Baumgartner and Green who should still be coaching in the AHL. I mean look at the PP and PK of the Canucks, even a blind mouse could coach better. I think Demko would be even more amazing under a better coach. Also the Canucks have been giving away pucks and breakaways even on PP consistently and without Demko the Canucks would be last. The one game Halak gets against Buffalo, they get outscored 5-2 while Demko kept it respectable against the McDavid Oilers and their legendary PP by only giving up 2.
