When is Knies going to play?

He made a point to fly back with the Gophers as a team. Then apparently hoped back on another flight to head back to Florida to join the Leafs

Gophers flew back Saturday night, if I recall.

For the extra 6 hours of flying, probably better to be with his team on the way back, pack his #### fully, and fly into Miami rather than sit in a Tampa hotel alone and then fly to Miami on Sunday.

I suspect the Leafs flew down to Miami on Sunday.

Under normal circumstances I'd agree. But I can understand wanting to be with your friends/teammates for a few more hours after the way the finals ended + knowing that the guys life is going to change quite dramatically

Most likely I see him getting shifts on every line his first game but mostly the TOP 6. If chemistry is instant then he will get a longer look... But I see him settling in the 3rd line role for now, his most used linemates will probably be a mix of:

Knies - O'Reilly - Accarai (away)
Knies - Accarai - Lafferty
Knies - Accarai - Kerfoot
Knies - Kampf - Lafferty/Kerfoot
