Send Bruno to the end of Telegraph Road. The team needs to find some brothers in arms to rescue it from the members getting money for nothing 5on5.
Hey, there's a really good reason why Stamkos deserves the 3rd most ES TOI among forwards despite putting up only 2 ES points. And that reason is...uh, go ahead Bruno, you tell him"In dire straits"

Well he was going to waive Tomasino and didn't think he would make it through, and I don't think he would either. However, he is making both roster and cap space so he is either trying to save the owner a few bucks or he has something else coming. It's so bizarre that Trotz has decided to give away young players instead of firing the coach.
Well, that's kinda what I mean. I'm not sure what the ultimate plan is (roster spots, potential move, just saving a buck...), but it seems that the coach has had zero accountability.Well he was going to waive Tomasino and didn't think he would make it through, and I don't think he would either. None of that changes the fact that Brunette should be fired.
I'm getting more and more worried that he, given his coaching background, is going to support his coaches to a fault. At this rate, he might get fired too because he refuses to move on from Bruno. It's so bizarre that Trotz has decided to give away young players instead of firing the coach.
If it was a rando GM, maybe. But Trotz is a Nashville icon. No way he gets canned.I'm getting more and more worried that he, given his coaching background, is going to support his coaches to a fault. At this rate, he might get fired too because he refuses to move on from Bruno.
Firing the coach would mean Trotz having to admit he was wrong. Trading away younger players is just cleaning the roster of players that he feels can be replaced easily. It's so bizarre that Trotz has decided to give away young players instead of firing the coach.
Well buckle up because Trotz' stated logic for trading Tomasino makes it sound like this is but the start or tripling down on BrunetteIt's so bizarre that Trotz has decided to give away young players instead of firing the coach.
Well, he is right about that. Tomasino was around a 40p pace for his career (a little less, but whatever). And Trotz basically already replicated that production by signing Stamkos, who's on pace for about 40 points. And it only cost $8M a year. Easy!Firing the coach would mean Trotz having to admit he was wrong. Trading away younger players is just cleaning the roster of players that he feels can be replaced easily.
