This is probably the most aware perspective of anyone in the organization. He knows that almost every coach gets let go at some point. All he can do is focus on Tuesday's game. If he gets fired is a Trotz decsion.

The difference in Bruno's statement and reported body language compared to the Henry statements on behalf of others is quite stark.

I don't get the uproar over Bruno's comments. He pointed out that all coaches expect that at some point they will get fired, so he just coaches the team and doesn't worry about it. Seems like a healthy attitude.

Now, he doesn't seem like a great coach and I would have fired him weeks ago, but the comments themselves didn't bother me.

I kind of think Trotz views Brunette as similar to him as a young coach and it did take Trotz many years to have success. The difference is that Trotz had a team full of fourth liners and Brunette has a roster that while flawed shouldn’t be this bad.
