By a country mile. Hynes made his own poor decisions, and his systems needed to be shot back to the early 1990's where they came from, but all of it was decent enough to keep the team in the hunt. He was just as bad at not being able to make adjustments but at least he never lost the room like it appears that Brunette has.
From everyone just watching the Vets literally quit on Brunette last night. I can't recall that ever being the case with Hynes.

Keep an eye open for news today, at least that’s what I’ve heard. Not sure if it’s the Brunette firing but something is supposed to be coming down the pipe.

This is where Trotz background as a coach is really a negative. He's trying to convince himself that he doesn't have to do this.
Thing is Trotz has only actually been fired once, and that wasn't even in season.

Only thing I can figure is maybe Trotz and Co went to church, and will have a meeting this afternoon with Brunette. I figure if we haven't heard anything by 3 nothing is being done.
Not saying it will/has to be Bruno getting fired, but losing handily to Montreal and Ottawa to bring the losing streak to 7 HAS to prompt some sort of change.
