GDT: WHC - Finland vs Sweden

Not up front however, they can win board battles but they are limited in what they can do with it against talented defensively well organized teams like the Finns.

If the Swedes are to win gold here this year they will very much have to grind it out.

Who is so far the best Finnish player for the Finnish fans? In my opinion it‘s Lehtonen but I‘m not watching the game from the beginning.

Look at their play this period..........you can't get anything on them, all five guys supporting each other all over the ice.

The swedes look useless, sorry.


Maybe you can make something happen on the p.p here.......you will really need to because 5 on 5 you aren't threatening at all.

If the Swedes is useless Finns will scores more than 2 goals.
 
That PP was almost as bad as the Finnish PP earlier, someone should tell both teams that we're not really competing in that here.
 
Static umbrella PP with no movement. All Fins had to do was stay still in their box. And not using OEL was stupid lol

I have not been able to watch the first two periods. Going to watch the third though. How are we playing?
 
There was the makeup call from the refs for the level the refs wanted for the game. The Finnish team has been getting away with larceny compared to the penalties called on the Swedish team. Cross checking to the face on a player not having the puck? Well, I guess a tripping we have been accepting for the last 5 attempts will be a penalty now.
