GDT: WHC - Finland vs Sweden

That was a dogshit period of hockey from both teams as in entertainment value, hope it picks up.
 
Finland has achieved something historic in this game… The refs are favoring us (so far), this has not happened in the long history of Finnish hockey!

This needs action from coaching. Throw water bottle in the ground and tell eveyone will eat sunströmming if second period is like that

Seems like the game isn't emotionally as loaded as usually, maybe they don't dislike each other after todays Presidential and Royal meetings

Eh, very slightly, i would have called the hook on Hartikainen just after the penalty, the slash that was called earlier and given nothing to Larsson or the finn who hit Dahlin.

Huh? Do you think the swedes played particulary well? I certainly don't think so, obviously they were easily better than the Finns but if that's good hockey for you, you have some terrible standards.

Also didn't know there's multiple Finnish teams on the ice.

Dont know whats wrong with me, used to hate it when Sweden lost against Finland. Maby its the war. Just dont seem as important anymore. Finland and Sweden always been close, but feels like we are even closer now.

Still the most entertaining games even when they play like dogpoo.

We have never beaten Sweden on our home ice at the WHC.. based on the game so far won't happen today either. Feels like 3-0 Swedish win.
 
I still have no idea why Hellberg is the #1 goalie on this Swedish team. Do we have nothing better? He's been leaking goals to the left and right, I do not trust his fundamentals at his stage of the career. Any top SHL goalie would've been a better choice. I'm not impressed at all by his performance. WTH was that? Again?

I can accept a goalie getting beat but I can't accept a goalie leaking. Oh, that's right. We have Garpenlöv as a coach who knows jack shit about coaching.
