I can see the Koskenkorva came out from the cupboards way earlier than 18:00 for Finnish fans tonight. It's understandable. It's not easy facing the fear of losing against Sweden in the World Championship on home ice.

Last time Finland lost to Sweden in Helsinki there was an actual hit on the Finnish economy from depression, albeit only for a few days. As in it was actually measurable. I almost don't want to win tonight. Almost.

Moi mukkulat!

The what?

Quite the disparity between the forwards and defensemen for Sweden. Dahlin, Larsson, Ekman-Larsson and Gustafsson is a really good top 4 at this level. Forwards.. meh

Our D is quite vulnerable to the press, Heiskanen and Lindell will help though.

That's the shitty translation the Swedish TV subtitles gave me from the Finnish children's show called: "Moi mukkulat!" = "Hej små knattar!" Maybe it was only one "k". Is it Menkäeli? I don't know where it comes from, but that was the name of the show.

Don't blame me my country is shit. Now I see it should've been: "Hei pikku peikot!" That's how much my State television helped me understanding Finnish. I've been lied to all my life!

Ooh, you mean ”mukulat”.

The show is indeed translated ”Hei mukulat” in finnish, but ”Hej små knattar” would translate to ”hello little people”

Come on now, is the Finnish language that sensitive to misspelling or are you just extra hard against a northern Swede because we're playing eachother tonight?

If I say "Moi mukulat!" it's perfectly understandable while if I say "Moi mukkulat!" I've declared a coup d'etat or what?

Expecting Finland to do a lot better in the second period because they are poor as hell in this period.

Its not with certain words, but with some words they may have a conpletely different meaning. Tapaa/tappaa (meet/kill) is good example. Mukkulat is not a Finnish word, Mukulat.
