so the guy is a smidgen under ppg and now people think somethings wrong with him? People have ups and downs its not the end of the world. Hell bounce back
The guy broke his sternum in the finals and his shooting% was something like 4% to start the year - and he was one pf the point leaders on the team even when he was clearly a shell of himself. Never really worried that he wouldn't bounce back; it was just a question of when and whether he should already be playing after the injury.

It's not for a lack of trying. His expected goals is something like 8 more than his actual total. He's likely still not completely healed from offseason surgey. That Kolesar hit really f***ed him up. Our PP also sucks balls so that's not getting Chucky any extra points.

Secondary scoring as a whole is a problem for Florida right now. The top line of Rodrigues-Barkov-Reinhart is keeping us in it, but everyone else is inconsistent. Ekblad and Montour haven't done much of anything offensively since returning either.

I forgot he broke his sternum. That's got to hurt. Ouch.

Out or curiosity, does that kind of injury affect your breathing?

Hey y'all,

Tkachuk has been righting his ways for his #1 fan HV.

10 goals, 26 pts in 16 games since creation of this diary thread.

He's lighting up in 2024.

He's also now over a PPG and 28th in league scoring. Which may not seem that impressive, but he's only 3 points behind 15th in scoring.

Pretty realistic he finishes around 11th-20th in league scoring by the end of the season after a very slow start.

Of course, its entirely possible if a bit far fetched that he finishes in the top 10, but i'll reserve my expectations.

He had the trainer from the Coyotes over to his house for dinner the night before last night's game as he's known him since he was a young child when his dad was playing for them. Matthews a good guy in my books and one of the leagues best players - wish we never lost him in Calgary.
That's what Maurice said about him, more or less. He's friendly to all of the team and arena staff.
