While this is not from the 21st century, and perhaps less iconic than his flying Cup-winning goal, to me the following goal is Bobby Orr's masterpiece, hitting Bucyk in stride, right on the tape:

I get that a lot of fans on here are Canadian but Crosby's golden goal doesn't mean anything if you're not Canadian. Are we also going to give Mike Eruzione goal of the century for last century because he scored the game winner against the Soviet Union in 1980?

Yeah, probably. Last century's two biggest goals were Henderson in 1972 and Eruzione in 1980. Doesn't matter where you were born to think this.

The greatest goal of the century? More like a fun goal celebration for photographers. As a goal probably not top 1000.

It's funny.....one time Glenn Hall asked him (jokingly of course) "didn't you ever score any other goals?" lol
