Whats the Best 1st Round MatchUp?

Honestly, Washington.

I'm so bored of meeting them in the playoffs, but I think we have the best chance of beating them.

They are a team that is heavily reliant on their PP while constantly getting outplayed 5v5, the type of team that fares poorly in the playoffs where the PPs are scarcer.

I NEVER want to face Washington in the playoffs again. So bored with that match up and they're always a challenge for us.

If we draw them again... :banghead:

Much rather have Washington than Pitt or Montreal. Both of those are nightmares matchup-wise.

Boston may be the best team of the group but they are also a much better matchup for the Rangers.

in order:
boston
montreal
washington
penguins

This is my order as well. I know people may think it's a bit crazy to prefer Montreal to Washington. Montreal is not as good as their position in the standings would indicate. They're finally coming back down to Earth and I have a feeling that they will be bumped out in the first round.

washington is scary with ovi playing the way he is. i know we are cursed in montreal but all curses end eventually right

Rather face Washington than any of Boston, Montreal, Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh is the best team in the east. Montreal is a team that always seems to beat us whether they suck or not. The Bruins when they're on grind as well as any team in the league and Chara is just a monster.
