He makes 750K? Wow... hell of a lot for a sport that doesn't make money.
There are definitely NCAA teams that make money, not sure if Denver is one of them though. Denver doesn’t have a football team, and the basketball and baseball programs are essentially irrelevant. So hockey is pretty much the flagship program for the athletic department. I’d imagine it plays a big role in campus social life, as well as bringing alumni/donors back on campus.

All that to say: seems like money well spent.

Canada remains at the top of the hockey world… With Bedard, Celebrini and McKenna coming… Hockey Canada is a strong as it’s ever been and will not lose a single game in the 4 Nations tournament or Olympics… Or any other competition that is best on best.

Canada would have won at least 13 of the last 14 WJC if it was best on best no doubt.. Not this USA make a wish tournament
Oh no!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Canada will always be good, but their time as the premier hockey country is over. The world caught up. Keep movin them goalposts!

3 gold medals in the last 5 years.

They have good players that makes a good team. Simple as that.

USDP has been a success, pumping out great superstars almost every year.
Canadian influences on the hockeynon ice, itsbless skating in straight lines and more real offense, puck control and killing instincts.

As great as last night’s victory was, they’re most likely gonna have to beat Canada again for it to really be a notch in the belt
