Lindstrom surprises as the 1C of the future over Fantilli. Fantilli can play center but is equally impactful at the wing, and the Jackets have a lot of center options all of a sudden with Monahan, Voronkov, and Jenner also in the mix. There's no room for Cole Sillinger. I'm still toying with the bottom six but there's a lot of good defensive players there, I'm excited for that!

Mateychuk emerges as the best fit with Werenski, even though this requires Mateychuk to switch sides. Just a hunch. I'm bullish on Jiricek eventually figuring things out but it's possible that he isn't patient enough with his deployment and needs to be moved. I could see Jake Christiansen being a real late bloomer and maybe a second pair guy.

The amount of players on my post who busted is depressing. Even the guys I thought they'd pick at 9th overall didn't happen lol and I'm glad cause Dach cant stay healthy and Turcotte is worse than Steel and only Cozens would have been a good pick out of the three i mentioned. Lindgren is the yearly Rangers fans offseason overreaction. Last year was Lafreniere, and look what happened.

Lindgren had a bad year. Also like his first bad year in his career. People say he's a product of Fox and all that, but Fox hasn't actually had a lot of success over the years when Lindgren has been injured (other than some fluky analytics paired with Gustafsson of all people when they weren't even playing well).

People saying he's starting to break down are being dramatic. The guy turned 26 a few months ago. If he was five years older, it'd be a worthy discussion.
