While we may not know what line MSL will be playing on and who is teammates will be, it's pretty safe to say that he's still shown that he's an elite player in this league even after just recently turning 39 years of age.
Before we acquired MSL from Tampa he had 61 points in 62 games played; almost a point per game basis playing with the likes of 2nd and 3rd line players with Stamkos injured. He came to New York and produced 8 points through 19 games, although every Ranger fan knows he was better than that; especially in the playoffs where he came up big multiple times.
What can we expect from Marty next year, at least point wise? I think barring injury 50 points is safe bet although I'd be extremely disappointed in that considering how much we gave up (even though last seasons playoffs almost made it worth it).
So, the question is out. After about a quarter of the regular season, the Stanley Cup playoffs, a full training camp and knowing AV's system, what do you expect Martin St. Louis to produce next season?
