Not to rehash dead horses, but to me that is not worth 2 first round draft picks.

Regardless **** happens.

I think it was a well calculated risk for the rangers and while MSL didn't produce points at the same rate he did in Tampa, his on ice presence and timely goal scoring are prominent reasons as to why the rangers went to the final.

Philly gave up 2 firsts, their top defenceman prospect and a young 50 pt scorer for one playoff run with Pronger.

50 goals, 45 assists. 95 points.

Assuming Sather trades the ghost of Scott Gomez to EDM for Nathan MacKinnon.

I don't get why everybody thinks these corsi numbers necessarily indicate a player's caliber. Maybe I don't know enough. In any case, the argument that the last 19 players over 38 to register 50 or more points were still good at 40, and that, therefore, so will St. Louis, is 100% illogical.

But I tend to agree.

CORSI is a joke.

But his link just shows that despite the fact that most players don't score 50 points at age 38, the ones that DO, typically stay close to the same production level at ages 39 and 40 before retiring or dropping off.

I am sure he will be better. Even Rick Nash played better for whatever that is worth... St.Louis will have a whole year to get use to our team and city. He will be fine
