Im already dead inside watching this team. Pretty sure rock bottom isn't much lower than it's been before. It'll be fine regardless of the outcome.
Dead inside, that’s the perfect state. I’m all emotion until they lose every year, I text my buddies “oh well” and stop thinking about them. My mind goes right to the same place and they’re dead to me.

The leafs posing as a contender all season and then suddenly revealing their real selves, like spacey at the end of the usual suspects. And poof......they’re gone.

I’d say I feel numb.

Nervous. Think we can win, know we can win. Lifelong Leafs fan in me is braced for the let down. Whiskey is poured, Leafs sweater is on....let's do battle

never better

I'm actually stoked. I said after last season 'call me when Dubas is gone' This has to ensure it no?

If I had a choice between the Raptors winning the NBA Final for the first time OR the Leafs winning the Stanley Cup for the 14th time - It will be the Raps every time.

Toronto has been and is one of the most passionate sports cities. Not only do we have franchises in 3 of the big 4 sports leagues - but they have all been at the top and winning it all at least once. The only thing we are missing is our own Toronto NFL team winning a Super Bowl.

In the end, I am happy with our franchises and although I never experienced a Stanley Cup win in my lifetime, we can look back on the rich history of the Leafs franchise and old footage of past glory. Those moments will matter for all time in the hockey history books.

Sad. You're stoked when bad things happen to the team just so you can stroke your own ego. Congrats. You've managed to be a bigger loser than the Leafs.

I have enough emotional maturity to see what's best for the team long-term. We need to get rid of Dubas to move forward. While you sound like a 15-year-old mean girl in the cafeteria. Haha.

My mood is wanting to yell at the only analytics crowd, yet again, that I told you so.

Don’t get me wrong, I love hockey analytics, and try to use them to help make player valuations clearer. And they work for sure in that regard. A wonderful aid. But, you can always tell the guys who either only look at the stats and graphs and don’t really watch games, or do watch games as well, but don’t really understand what their seeing on the ice.
