He's tenacious, physical, strong, and he had a good shot, but he had a low IQ. I don't think he has top 6 upside IMO.

I'm happy he's doing well, but I don't think he's skilled enough. Maybe he's vastly improved, but he wasn't that guy here in Vancouver. I do hope he figures it out, and this isnt just a hot streak. He was by far one of the more loveable Canucks in recent memory.

Honestly Podkolzin doing Nikushkin was not on my bingo card this year.

I really liked Podz but his time in Vancouver was over. He does all the little things right. Hate the Oilers but I'm happy he is finding a place in the NHL.

Podkolzin hasn't made any stripper disappear, also has 0 goals in playoffs against Nichuskin's 9 in 8 games 23-24.
