Yeh I could see that. The hard working player type that he is, will never have much haters. No doubt he’s liked by Nucks fans. But honest assessments of his game from Nucks fans have said he’d never be a top 6.

You don’t think he’s a good forechecker or defender though? Interesting.
He is but Tocchet doesn’t like him

He's tenacious, physical, strong, and he had a good shot, but he had a low IQ. I don't think he has top 6 upside IMO.

I'm happy he's doing well, but I don't think he's skilled enough. Maybe he's vastly improved, but he wasn't that guy here in Vancouver. I do hope he figures it out, and this isnt just a hot streak. He was by far one of the more loveable Canucks in recent memory.

Fair assessment. Pretty much my first impressions of him when he got here.
