The Leafs are a corporate backed team which means everyday fans cannot afford to watch the games live because a vast majority of tickets are controlled by huge corporations . If the leafs never make it to the ECF does it ever matter? The corporations will buy most of the tickets no matter how good or bad the team is. I feel sorry for middle class leaf supporters.

My point was that your team won't ever go far with a poor leader like Matthews. My team went much farther than yours, multiple times and wons 10 cups since the last one you won. Nothing rich about pointing a loser franchise won't get out of their rut with a player like him leading the way. Your regular season success don't mean anything when your bigger role players never step up comes playoff times.
