I don't really listen to this band at all but this song from 2017 gets stuck in my head all the time. Has a very 70s vibe

Absolutely slept on this Aussie band earlier this year by putting them on the back of the listen-to list but their 2021 album is one of the better 30 minuters I've heard. Sound very similar to Ride.

Quebec: Michel Pagliaro. This guy was churning out big time melodies in the 70s but was mismanaged — a familiar story for many artists from that era.

Italy: Pino Daniele (RIP). Played with several jazz greats.

Italy: PFM. Met the band members after a concert several years ago. After the show, stayed on with all the fans who wanted to talk to them. Their roadies were literally packing gear in their trucks while all of the band members took pics with us, signed autographs, shared stories and smiled. It was a surreal experience, never saw a band behave that way. A class act.

They have a lot of great prog songs in their repertoire but this melody particularly stands out for me:

Chilliwack, a talented Canadian band that never reached its potential thanks to unscrupulous management. They should have charted big in the US in the 70s, with this cut:

That song has a great recorded sound to it. Some trivia - the band were devout Scientologists and the record was devoted to L Ron Hubbard in the liner notes.
