Haven't heard that in a long time, loved this one. (that actress...wow) Sorum has drummed with so many bands.

love the solo, the rhythm guitar underneath and Sorum is really good

Ya she is Edie Segwick and actress that was part of Andy Worhal's scene in the last 60s until her death in 71 at 28. The opening line is a reference to Vogue magazine calling her a "youthquaker". Supposedly she is the first cousin once removed of Kyra Segwick.

That's who the song is about, but the woman in the video was Ian's girlfriend.

There is something about the French and sad songs, it's just a beautiful and soft language

Plays a part for sure but the lyrics of that song are incredibly melancholic and the dissonance between that and how the song was being reacted to, created an indelible moment. Also the fact that it came from someone confined to a wheelchair made it difficult to ignore.

I found out my favorite rock band released a new single that wasn't a cover about a month ago. I'm still amazed how awesome this is, even listening to it like 4 times already.

Was lucky to catch this on the Philly forum — it has become an ear worm for me, over the past week. It’s a special style of alt rock, but what also contributes to the overall impact is how the singer and her band mate behave throughout — it’s riveting and hilarious at once. Lyrics are not typical.
