I dunno...do you think someone named Buckethead would do something like that? He seems like such a nice young man.
He is a talented guitarist and a damn prolific one. Has has released close to 300 albums now and that is just his solo stuff.

Is he in the Guinness book of records?

As far as I am aware there is a category per says, though this article suggests it, along with a new other metal achievements, should be Guiness records.

7 Rocking Achievements That Should Be Guinness World Records but Are Not

The Most Prolific Rock Artist

This category is the easier one in terms of research. Buckethead, who is undoubtedly insane judging from his creative output, dwarfs any other rock performer with over 300 released albums in his catalog. While some of them are just glorified demos that range from weird to WTF-weird, a lot of the entries are more or less traditional music albums. Even the runner-up Frank Zappa with his 109 albums would’ve been impressed.

I have had the album since it came out, big Pat Metheny fan.

I'm not that familiar with his music, but at first I thought what you posted was a live version of a solo, but it keeps going.Nothing wrong with that but a whole album like that is not something you play anytime anywhere, but that could be said about anything ever recorded.

It is a very different album with tons of rumors as to why he made it. Some he has debunked over the years.

He is a great jazz guitarist who is willing to experiment a fair bit. Has played with lots of big names in jazz like Chick Corea (who sadly passed away back in February), John Scofield, Larry Coryell, etc.. He has also taught at Berkley. Probably most prolific and best known for the Pat Metheny Group.

One of his cool things is a custom made 42-string pikasso guitar he had made and plays in a number of songs.
